Privacy Policy

Rolbella ("we") makes short videos in which the head of a character in one of our template scenes is replaced with the person in a photo you upload. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. We wrote it to describe what the app actually does.
What we collect
- Photos you upload. Only the photos you choose for a video. We never read your photo library.
- Videos we make for you. Stored so you can watch and download them.
- A device identifier. A random identifier created on your device, used to keep your credits and videos together without an account. We do not require your name, e-mail or phone number.
- Purchase records. When you buy credits, Apple or Google processes the payment and tells us that it succeeded. We do not see your card details.
- Technical logs. Request times, error messages and IP addresses, kept for security and to fix problems.
How photos are used
- Photos are used solely to render the videos you request. They are not used to train AI models and are not shown to anyone.
- Rendering runs on GPU servers we rent. The photo is copied to the server for the duration of the render and deleted from the server when the render ends.
- Uploaded photos are deleted from our storage automatically 30 days after upload, or immediately when you delete the related video in the app.
Where data is stored
Photos and videos are stored with Cloudflare R2 in data centres in the United States. Our rendering servers are provided by RunPod, also in the United States. Both providers process data on our behalf and under their own security commitments.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data and we do not share photos or videos with advertisers or any third party, except the infrastructure providers named above and where the law requires it.
Your choices
- Delete any video in the app: the video and its photos are removed from our storage right away.
- Delete everything: write to [email protected] from the app's support screen with your device identifier and we erase your records within 30 days.
Children
Rolbella is not for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
